Large mid 20th.c. oil on canvas portrait of Lady Grimthorpe, sensitively painted by British artist Alice Mary Burton RBA (1893-1968). Excellent condition, presented in the original frame. Both artist and sitter are identified with an original Royal Society of Portrait Painters paper label on the reverse.
