For sale we have a lovely silver Porringer made by the highly esteemed Arts and Crafts silversmith A E Jones.

The Porringer is of a beautifully simple and elegant consisting of a heavy grade planished silver bowl extending to two simple but perfectly proportioned handles. The planishing has given both the interior and exterior a stunningly eye catching finish typical of A E Jones. The bowl carries full English Hallmarks for Birmingham 1911, along with the makers mark for A E Jones.

The porringer weighs approximately 114gm and is just under 5.5 inches (13.8cm) in width including the handles. The porringer is in a very good antique condition, but does carry a small impression to the front and rear. These cannot be seen in the pictures and are almost impossible to photograph because of the hammered finish.
