9CT Gold Vesta Case, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co
A very nice, antique, English 9CT Gold Vesta Case made by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, Regent Street, London.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "G&SCo.Ltd.", for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd alongside "9" and ".375" for 9 carat solid gold, the London town mark and date letter "U" for 1915/16.
The plain gold case is free of initials or other engravings.
It is in good condition, but does have some very minor indents.
It measures approximately 38mm x 40mm. The weight is 11.5g.
9CT gold vesta cases are relatively rare, a nice addition to any collection. Specialists in Antique Pocket Watches & Vintage Wristwatches, Jewellery, Silver (including Scottish Provincial),Good Quality Antiques & Works of Art.
