A 9CT Gold Scottish Masonic Jewel Medal, Lodge Tobermory St Mary's No 1310.
The rear of the medal is hallmarked with the maker's mark "JMcM" (possibly for J McMenamin Ltd, wholesale jewellers, of St Enoch Square, Glasgow), "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "C" for 1927/28.
The suspender top bar inscribed "Lodge Tobermory St Mary's No. 1310" and the lower bar "1929.30, R.W.M., 1930.31".
The rear of the jewel inscribed
"Presented to Bro. J Carmichael, RWM, Lodge Tobermory St Mary's 1929.30, 1930.31"
The jewel is complete with the original presentation case.
