Superb set of 8 Victorian dining chairs with solid rosewood frames and attractively covered drop seat pads. The backrests all have a horizontal centre rail with a shapely top which leads down to splay legs. The purple and silver fabric covering the drop seats is clean and looks newly done and sits on 2 beautifully turned legs. Like all antique furniture there are some imperfections in line with age and use however they are a solid set with wonderful colouring and patina ready for every day use. These are well crafted chairs that provide both style & function to be welcomed around any table.
