This is a lovely, late 19th century French Empire ormolu mounted burr elm and kingwood circular occasional table. It has moulded edge top brass ormolu wreath swags that encircle the side of the table. It stands on a tapering hexagonal shaped stem that has a herringbone inlaid pattern that extends the full height of the stem. The table stands on a platform base, fitted with brass lions paw feet.
