This English Desk chair or Captains chair is in really clean condition, freshly French polished and just reupholstered in Green leather with close studding. This proper close studding with each one individually inserted not the nasty cheap strip type. This tub shape chair, sometimes also referred to as a smokers bow had been polished previously with a reddish tint, almost certainly intended to go with a mahogany desk. We have not tried to alter this so it will really suit mahogany antique furniture. A good comfy shape and a solid example with the double support stretchers turned in the centre as can be seen in the pictures. A good looking chair ready to go into service. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
