19th Century Glastonbury Oak Chair

The Glastonbury chair has been made from the 15th Century onwards
This is a good solid example, it has the classic X frame, decorated in the Gothic style with initials carved on the chair back into a 4 lobed figure beneath 3 smaller ones
In good condition, a good honest piece
The chair is 32” high, 28” wide and 25” deep with a seat height of 18”
