19th Century French Etagere.
This fine quality table has a solid brass rim to the tray top & brass inlay to all four legs. The flaps are supported by brass rods.
Made for the up-market salons of France, the table provides additional surface area when required & can be folded away when not in use.
Solid Mahogany legs & top with veneered flaps.
Condition is very good, one flap as can be seen in photo has minor ripples where a wet decanter has rested.
Size height 29.50" to rim, shelf height 16"
depth of top 18.75"
width of top 26.50".
depth with flaps down 32"
Width with flaps down 40"
This would be great for any social occasion where additional table space is required.
