19th Century French Empire Style Day Bed or Single Sleigh Bed.

The bed is made with Cherry Wood, both ends are the same with a rounded top rail and an upward curving shaped front rail
This is an attractive bed, it has a divan base and a new purpose made ticking covered mattress, and there is plenty of room for many cushions The bed is in good condition, only one slight fault, the panel at one end has shrunk slightly leaving a thin crack up the centre
The bed ends are 45” high and 35” wide, the overall length of the bed is 74”. The in side size of the bed is 66” long and 32” wide
