19th Century French Corbielle Chateau Double Bed

This is a very Impressive Corbielle, it is very high at the head and superbly shaped at both the top and foot bed. The bed is carved and still in its original shabby gold and cream paint and faded sculptured velvet upholstery
The bed is in excellent condition, there is a little genuine fading to the upholstery but it is would be a simple piece to have recovered, it dismantles for transport (head board, foot board, two sides and is easily reassembled.
The head of the bed is 50” high 60” wide and 84” long, the bed takes a 54” x 77” mattress
