1920s silver Halicos Lever pocket watch and chain
1920s silver Halicos Lever pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a Swiss signed stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover there is a little play in the inner hinge.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked in both of the back covers for Birmingham 1924, with a maker’s mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just a couple of small indentations to the back.
The watch glass has some marks from use but is acceptable.
The watch has an enamel dial with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is a vertical hairline crack running down from number 1 and some damage to the edge of the dial, next to number 10, but most of the chip is hidden by the bezel.
The watch comes with a silver watch chain (hallmarked on the T-bar but the marks are rubbed and difficult to read) and a 1938 competition medal. The chain and the fob weigh 46.5g. We have other fobs in stock and can change if required.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE.
