A 1906 H Samuel, Manchester Silver pocket watch. An enamel dial with black Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o'clock. The dial is signed 'The Climax Trip Action Patent' above 'H Samuel, Manchester'. A good quality keywind mechanism signed H Samuel, Manchester and numbered 801783. An outer mechanism cover, stamped 'Climax Reg, guaranteed English Manufacture Throughout'. Chester silver hallmarks date this watch to 1906.
