1902 Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.
1902 Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and it has the serial number 11141719 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10 carat gold filled and was originally guaranteed to wear 20 years so it is a good quality case. It was made by the English based case maker Aaron Dennison who previously worked at Waltham. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use.
The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside is a plastic lens which has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition. The dial is signed A.W.W.Co Waltham, Mass. The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks below the sub second dial although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
