A handsome 18th century oak dresser base, this has two drawers and will make a great storage piece for an entrance hall or reception room. The oak has a deep colour and a good patina and has been carved at the corners of the drawer fronts with quadrant shapes and there is a shaped apron and turned front legs. A great early piece of British oak antique furniture which will fit well with a traditional interior, but will also complement a modern home as a statement piece.

Dating to circa 1760, this is made of oak and originates from the UK.

In good age related condition, this is a sturdy piece which reflects the wear, marks and knocks expected for an item of rustic construction which has been in regular use for over 250 years. There is no working key available for the locks, although the latter are present.
