A very good quality, antique, 18CT Gold Fob Pocket Watch made by J Pourrat & Sons of Switzerland.
The 18CT Gold watch case is in very good condition. The inside of the rear cover stamped "18K" for 18 carat gold alongside Swiss control marks and the serial number 12522. The inner cuvette (dust cover) similarly marked, a sign of quality as they are often base metal on these type of watches. The cuvette also engraved with the maker's name "J Pourrat & Fils, de Geneve, Chronometre". The rear cover has engraved initials.
The Swiss made movement is in very good condition and working order. The movement with wolf teeth winding wheels, another sure sign of a quality watch.
The dial is in excellent condition. It has the hours in Arabic numerals and there is a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock.

The watch measures 31mm in diameter. The weight is 25.3g.
