A very nice and very good quality, antique, Edwardian, Scottish 18CT Gold Pocket Watch made by Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh and dating from c1907.
The 18CT Gold case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "JR" for Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham) , the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "h" for 1907/08.
The white enamel dial has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker "Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh"
The movement is signed by the maker "Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh" and has the serial number 148957. It is stem wound and pin set.
The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case). The weight is 112.9g
