A very good quality, Gentleman's Antique 18CT Gold Pocket Watch.
The watch is in very good overall condition and in working order.
The English made, heavy, 18CT gold case is in very good condition. It is hallmarked with maker's mark "IJTN" for Isaac Jabez Theo Newsome, the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Chester town mark and date letter (letter worn). The case is in very good overall condition. It has an engraved monogram to the front cover.
The English Lever movement is in working order. It is stem wound and pin set.
The dial is in excellent condition, see photo. It has Roman numerals for the hours and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock.
The watch measures approximately 50mm in diameter (excuding stem and bow ring).
