An exquisite 18 Kt yellow gold & enamel Vacheron open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1850. The pocket watch is complete with original key. This Vacheron pocket watch was made before Vacheron worked together with Constantin.

DIAL: The silver engine turned dial has Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued steel spade hands. The protective glass is in great condition.

MOVEMENT: The cylinder escapement movement has 6 jewels and blued screws with a three-armed flat balance. The movement is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

CASE: The pocket watch lies in an 18 Kt yellow gold open face case with enamel back. The bezel and back cover are set with enamel floral decoration to a black background. Please see pictures! The cuvette is decoratively signed: "Echappement a Cylindre, Quatre Trous en Rubis, Vacheron A Geneve, N°29232".
