An 1864 John Bennett, London pocket watch. A silver case with engine turning to the back and sides, as well as a sunburst decoration around the top button. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial, signed 'Bennett & Cheapside, London 28187'. Case back inner signed with the Bennett logo and '65&64 Cheapside, London'. A high quality English fusee mechanism signed by makers. Case, dial and mechanism all numbered 28187. London hallmarks date this watch to 1864.
