Hardbacks Bound In The Original Decorated Cloth Bindings, Colour Frontis Plate Each Volume, Numerous Full Page Colour & Black & White Plates To Each Volume With Hundreds Of Black & White Illustrations Among Text, Beveled Edges To Boards.

Each Book Measures Approx 10 x 8 Inches

Each book has some ink stamps to front endpapers for the royal society for the protection of birds, Bedfordshire, some volumes have minor cracking to inner front & rear hinges with slight play to some but all boards well attached, occasional light foxing, minor crease or mark to pages, occasional browning to half titles & endpapers. Externally the set is in excellent clean & bright condition, internally very good with majority of pages clean.
