A very nice, 10CT Gold Half Hunter Pocket Watch, made by the American Watch Co. for Hopkins & Hopkins of Dublin, Ireland.
The 10CT Gold watch case is in lovely condition, with decorative engraving all over, the front with the hours in blue enamel, the rear with a central cartouche with the letter "V".
The movement signed by the maker "Am Watch Co., Waltham Mass". The serial number 6,302282 dating the watch to c1893.
The dial is signed by the retailer "Hopkins & Hopkins, Dublin". There are faint hairlines on the dial.
The watch is complete with an English hallmarked 9CT gold suspender in the form of a ribbon brooch.
