Description

This elegant solid silver mustard pot was made by the Atkins Brothers and is hallmarked for Sheffield 1901. The drum-shaped body pierced with intricate foliate scrolls. The domed hinged cover with a shell-shaped thumb piece.The back with a shaped scroll handle. The inner lid partially hallmarked and the spread circular base fully hallmarked on the underside. The interior fitted with a Bristol blue glass liner. Sold with an associated silver mustard spoon by Elkington & Co and dated Birmingham 1906.

Sheffield Assay Mark.
Date letter "i" for 1901.

Condition:

Very good
No dings or dents.
No loss to the pierced decorations.
Liner in perfect condition.
Good hinge .
