A 19th century Victorian birds eye maple window seat or bench.

The seat is in an aesthetic style with a black leather upholstered seat and ebonised decorations and edges.

The upright standard ends have carved patera and mouldings that are ebonised.

The standard end supports are joined by a substantial turned maple cross rail.

The bench is well made and heavily constructed and in good condition. (Circa 1870)
