The body is finished with a repoussé decorated screw on lid.
This very fine muffineer is Hallmarked for London 1891 on both the screw on lid and the body and both also carry the makers marks for Horace woodward & Co (Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor)
This caster is 5.5 inches (14cm) high 4 inches (10cm) long, 2.5 inches (6cm) wide and weighs approximately 6.5 ounces (200g). The muffineer is in an excellent conditionn with no damage or repair, although there is a little bit of wear to the easily legible hallmarks.
